Reverse Telephone Book

A reverse telephone book is exactly the same as a reverse directory search. There is no actual hard copy book or even an online e-book that you need to search through.

All you have to do is head to one of the many websites that provide a telephone number search and enter the mystery phone number that you need information on.

The massive databases of names, addresses and even e-mail addresses is rapidly searched by a computer back at the website's main server. Within a few seconds you are given a result of a corresponding name and address to that particular phone number.

People have many different names for this type of website and this type of search and this is where it can lead to some confusion. But the method, websites and results are all the same. Instead of finding out a phone number when you have the name or address, you find out the name and address behind a particular telephone or cellphone number.
